Situated to the east of Paris, Marne-la-Vallée is a new town that has been steadily built up since inaugural plans surfaced in 1965. Covering an area of 15,000 hectares, Marne-la-Vallée includes places such as Val d’Europe and Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, but it is Disneyland Paris that pulls the biggest crowds to this new town – Disneyland is just 35 minutes from Paris and a three-hour stretch from London.
With Marne-la-Vallée being under a century old, its innovative architecture is bringing it worldwide recognition. It is therefore home to multinational corporations and annually it experiences further growth in this sector. Along with its contemporary urban feel it also possesses a great environment with masses of green space and water and Marne-la-Vallée has significant potential for additional growth. There is much to be discovered in this fledgling development.
