Visit the port city Marseille, on southern France's Meditteranean coast, and explore one of the country's most visited cities with a Campanile hotel.

In the far south-western corner of France, lies the Mediterranean city of Marseille. With a population of more than 1.5 million people, Marseille is France’s second largest city, after only the capital, Paris. After being founded by the Greeks in 600 BC, it is one of the oldest cities in Europe, and has a lot of rich history and culture behind it. Being on the coast, the city is built around its well-used and famous port.

The city is a hub for tourists venturing to the south of France, and is littered with shops, theatres, museums, restaurants and art galleries, all helping to attract more visitors. There are five Campanile hotels in Marseille from which you can begin your exploration of the city, the most central of which are Hotel Campanile Marseille - Saint-Antoine and Hotel Campanile Marseille - La Penne Aubagne.
